Doug on Bob Mueller show

Doug Jones was interviewed on This Week with Bob Mueller for the TV show that will air this weekend, 6:00 Saturday night (also 9:00 Sunday morning) on Channel 2, WKRN. Bob Mueller interviews Nashville’s movers and shakers (Do you like that, Doug?) about politics and things that are happening locally. Doug is an attorney who is knowledgeable about state politics, but I’ll just bet he gets to put in a few words about A Season of Darkness.

Signing at Maury County Library 2/19/11

Our new best friend Julie Gillen has arranged for us to do a signing in Columbia on Saturday, February 19, 1:30-2:30.  I call Julie our new best friend because we just met her in November at the Oxford Creative Nonfiction Conference, but she has become the most wonderful supporter of A Season of Darkness.  She’s also a talented writer whose articles appear in The Daily Herald in Columbia, and, yes, she’s giving us a shout-out there, too. Since she has a million friends, we are expecting a large audience next Saturday.  Doug and I hope we’ll have some friends there, too!

Buy your books at Bookman/Bookwoman!

Today we had a great book signing at Saralee and Larry Woods’s delightful store. And they had plenty of books!  Though they sold a bunch, there are still copies available. So if you need a copy of A Season of Darkness, Bookman/Bookwoman in Hillsboro Village is the place to go. I could have browsed for hours!

Signing at Bookman-Bookwoman

Doug Jones and I will be at Bookman-Bookwoman in Hillsboro Village on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 2:00, signing A Season of Darkness. Thanks to Larry and Saralee Woods for inviting us to their bookstore and for the good publicity for our book on Tuesday. They appeared on Channel 5’s Talk of the Town in a segment: “Best New Reads for the New Year.”
