Delighted to be Invited

Author extraordinaire River Jordan has invited me to be her guest on her radio show ClearStory Radio. The show is aired on Wed. 1-2, 107.1 fm and 103.7 fm and you can go to the website www.riverjordan.life/on-air.html to join the stream. She tells me we will be talking about writing and Thanksgiving. Whatever River wants to talk about will be sure to be entertaining and fun.

Southern Festival of Books

October means the Southern Festival of Books, the biggest, most important literary event in Nashville! Over 20,00 book lovers are expected to attend, October 12-14, downtown. Authors from all over the U.S. will be presenting.
I’ll be on one of the panels with other Sisters in Crime writers. Our topic is “Misadventures in Mystery,” the lengths to which a crime writer will go for realism and research. I’m sure  Lisa Wysocky, Kelly Oliver, and Karen Robards have had a few misadventures, as have I! It’s always fun to get together with the Sisters (and Misters).
Our panel is Saturday, October 13, 2 pm at the Nashville Main Library’s Banner Room.
For more about the SFB, information on authors, and the schedule, visit www.humanitiestennessee.org/programs/southern-festival-books-celebration-written-word
It’s free, it’s fun, and you may get to see the next great American writer!

Maury County Library Event, Saturday, Dec. 1

If you’re anywhere near Columbia, please join me for an event at the Maury County Library, at 11:00 on Saturday. There will be 16 authors signing books, including Doug Jones and me. Then you can walk over to the new bookstore that is having its opening on Saturday. Way to go, Columbia! I am hoping to see some of my Waynesboro friends.
